Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account (such as username, email, and password hash), content you add to your journal (trades, notes, screenshots you upload), and preferences you set in the app (for example theme or currency). We may also record technical data needed to operate the service (such as approximate timestamps and basic diagnostics).
How we use information
We use your information to provide and improve TradeVerse, authenticate you, show your data back to you, and communicate important account or security notices. Marketing emails are sent only when we have a lawful basis and you can opt out where applicable.
Cookies and sessions
We use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in securely and to protect forms (including CSRF protection). You can clear cookies in your browser; doing so may sign you out.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account through in-app account settings where available; deletion removes your journal data associated with that account subject to any backups or legal holds we must maintain.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security; use a strong, unique password and protect access to your devices.
Third parties
We may use trusted providers (for example hosting, email delivery, or payments) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. TradeVerse is not a broker and does not execute trades on your behalf.
Children
TradeVerse is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law to consent without parental approval.
